Lunches and family get-togethers will always be one of my favorites.Sumptuous home cooked meals and merry conversations were exchanged for my Lola's 96th birthday. How cute she is when asked "How old are you" and she joyously (and quickly) responds: "86!"

Carnival Drolleries

My past few days are just full of emotions. Recently bid farewell to one of the companies that cradled me through my career childhood and endlessly supported be to my new endeavor (which i'll tell you soon). The goodbyes and see-you-soon's of these people will always be in my heart's imagination. That was a pure combination of bliss and blues.

So now, I really have to have something to look forward to, and this happened last weekend. Went to a lunch buffet and Star City with office friends plus the beau. I have been such a carnival junkie since I can remember. The colorful lights and the thrill of rides can never be comparable. The happiness you see in these children's little eyes can always negate this indefinable languor you feel in the emptiness of your real world.

On dozing on another round of sheer Filipino Talent at Cinemalaya 2012. Supposed to be watching Sta. Nina (Watched Ang Katiwala Caretaker last Monday) but procrastinating took its toll. SOLD OUT. Yes,poor us.

Took photos of the exhibit instead and came across interesting people in the field. The more-than-filled theaters clearly say: Filipinos are more than talented when it comes to producing quality films. I can't help but  get chills on the trailers and posters alone.

A send off party comes after for a friend and drowned our senses with food and sweets. I will always be a fan of reunions and keep-up stories.

I hope this kind of bed-weather made you productive as well, darling *wink*

Hoping you're having a wonderful weekend so far. I'm warmed knowing mine was spent with my family. An out of town trip plus attended mama's graduation (yesterday). I couldn't be more proud of her. At last, ticking one from her to-do list. I love you mother!
