Eid
/ēd/
Noun
  1. A Muslim festival, in particular.
  2. The feast marking the end of the fast of Ramadan.

In the Middle East, or in Doha rather:

1) It's not allowed to eat nor drink in public during Ramadan
2) You can only be seen eating during Iftar (after sunset)
3) You can only drink alcohol/smoke in private places (i.e. hotels), well even if it's not Ramadan (Ha!)

Iftar Party

Iftar Party (July 2013, Doha)

I'm finally up and about on blogging again. I missed talking. Like, being myself. Currently looking on a 2-month worth of blog posts, and sighing but smiling to say that "Finally I have time to do this."

Anyhow, these are photos of my Front Office superstars during an Iftar Party in my boss' flat. (I told you, I have posts 2 months back.)

Ritz Doha

While it's pouring in Manila, we're still enjoying the sun of Doha. Well, in terms of getting a tan, I haven't got one. Erm you, sandstorm.

Went to Ritz Carlton Doha with Xylle darling, and enjoyed the perks of being a hotelier -- deeply discounted hotel rates <3

Close Your Eyes, and Dance Like No One is Watching

Laced dress - Thrifted || Gray ankle boots - H&M

Pains of being a woman, I tell you.

And as you would, or wouldn't know, I try to be a healthy eater. So let me have this cranberry vodka.

Snuck out a night with half of my best girls here. Lawd. Having same shifts with these gems could almost be impossible. Oh hotelier life, I love and hate you at the very same time.

 Because actually, sophistication is key.

I should be doing this more. My writing kind of sucks now, and I don't even know if I should still publish this. But blah. I will.

My Safe Place

Sweet little Tala - an overly adorable baby we met in the beach.

Let my summer 2013 officially commence.
