Close Your Eyes, and Dance Like No One is Watching

Laced dress - Thrifted || Gray ankle boots - H&M

Pains of being a woman, I tell you.

And as you would, or wouldn't know, I try to be a healthy eater. So let me have this cranberry vodka.

Snuck out a night with half of my best girls here. Lawd. Having same shifts with these gems could almost be impossible. Oh hotelier life, I love and hate you at the very same time.

 Because actually, sophistication is key.

I should be doing this more. My writing kind of sucks now, and I don't even know if I should still publish this. But blah. I will.

The Year That Was

As I lounge in this first few days of the year, I course through all the strawberry-filled memories of 2012. "It was a good one, a good one" I always say. Looking back on the photos captured from the past year, gives me yet again a sly smile to the Higher Power who made it possible and bearable. I officially welcome you, (yes on my own pace) 2013. Bring it.

Oh Bloodrush's first issue. Had a sweet heart attack

Channeling droopy eyes with (none other than) Af for VLM

This unforgettable window pane.

Still, my favorite VLM collection to date.

Laying our hands on every single VLM novelty piece.

And then, Ta-daa, we launched VLM's first ever novelty nifties.

Bicol 2012

Ah, I miss you, hermana.

Was one of those Bloodrush meetings over a cup of coffee. Oh the minds of these women. <3

The queens and culprits of Bloodrush
THAT. NIGHT.
Onto blue drinks and lights.

We were Spice Girls that night, and went ziggy zig ah.

StyleBible 's been a darling to me last 2012. Honored. So honored.

Always one of those dates that keep me fight for life.

My first ever climb.

Aaand BR's second issue. Woosh.

Finally, our own Coachella, Manila Music Festival

3/4 of the hands I grew up with. Futures.

We cried and laughed at the very same time. That night, we knew, the stories over a glass of this fancy drink,  made us the women we now are.

We both didn't shed a tear. Because for us, I never left. It's all about the mindset, honey. (At the airport going to Doha)

Doha's sunset.

Doha's Cityline.

Let's build more of these, 2013.

Strategy Sessions

Photos by Tin Malones

As I've mentioned in previous posts, I have a major career move in my shoulders right now, and I couldn't be more grateful for every opportunity given to me. Will be doing a lateral hotel transfer to Doha and I, as heartbreaking as this might sound, will be leaving the gorgeous Manila next week.Yes, i'm happy with this, but counting days here in Manila (or should I say, Philippines)  is surely shuddersome. Typing every single thing i'll miss would be enough torture for me. But, we, my friends, should move on and keep looking towards that dream. We shall taste true bliss soon.

*Gasp* Anyway, Dressing down this sequined top I got from my Aunt last year with shorts and minimal accessories (yes I consider my ponytail as an accessory.NOT.)

Friday Stripes

Red Striped top - thrifted || Tank top - Old navy || Washed jeans - Jag || Wedge boots  - Peacocks (Oh I miss Peacocks. Does anyone of you know another branch?)

A long overdue post. I have been slightly shying away from social interaction for the past few days since I really think I could just be consumed as of now being alone, and thinking alone. Aside from watching Modern Family--basically non-stop except from pee and food breaks.

Oh Jesus, I should really get back to the real world as soon as possible.
