Annual Staff Parties aren't really my thing, but this time, I was quite pumped up. "Dress to Impress" was the theme they said, but the street cat inside me was a little too reserved this time.

Hey Summer

 I haven't been blogging long enough that I forgot the standard width of my photos to make my blog pretty decent. Oh how hotel operations get the best out of me. But don't get me wrong, I love my job. It had been gracing once-in-a-lifetime emotions, experiences, and of course, learnings.

Anyhow, half of the front office superstars went out for some long overdue R&R at Sealine. Yes, Doha has a beach. (You have to drive through sand dunes though, which were quite interesting). Aaahh, the smell of the salty beach, the music of the waves in my ears, the mouth watering barbeque prepared by the hotel kitchen, and of course that irreplaceable feeling of the sun kissing my skin. I have been longing for you, summer.

And oh, I should try THIS soon.

So after a couple of days, I ask you: "How was your Valentines day?" yes, I know, overly late. But what can a pool hotelier do, but try to blog after a long week's cycle of work-sleep-eat-work.

Mine was on the not-so-me kind, but was worth doing again. Skype-dated the beau on the 13th, then went out with hotel friends that night. A birthday shoutout to one of the sweetest superstars in the bunch, Gani. All the best, man.

We, the superstars, never cared who were watching us. That night, we breathed by dancing.
