Hair Enchantments

Finally, after 3 long years of digesting the idea of me having this hair comes to an end. I have been sporting long tresses ever since I can remember, and thought that having it this short was waaay far from being possible because of my face shape. But blah on insecurities and hello body (and face shape) appreciation!

And to my haircut peg: Audrey Tautou.

Harper Sadie Blair

As I sip on this hot chocolate, i've been sinking myself about this unfathomable miracle of life. Visited one of my girlfriends (Jazel) as she gave birth to this honeypie.

Last 27 October 2013, our little angel, Harper Sadie Blair was embraced by the world. It was just a couple of months back when we were trying to imagine how you look and how you would feel in our arms as we carry our babydoll.

The legit mother. I'm so proud of you Jaze, you're helluva superwoman.

Aaand now to the pretending mothers. Look at our fascination with this gem.

Poof

Ah, this darling. I've been convincing her to make her own blog.

I've been a blog slacker these past few days weeks. These photos have been dated 6th of January, which makes it exactly two weeks and two days before I can post it. (Yeah, go ahead, judge) Work's still sucking pretty much all of my time right now, that I don't have the pleasure of sitting on my laptop and blog away.

Plus, I really have to remind myself to buy a tripod and a remote to at least document my outfits, because apparently, in the hospitality industry, your friends who'd be willing to take otd's have a different schedule than yours. Okay, I don't make sense now, and I should stop. *poof*

Pawnshop Blues

Weather in Doha's finally being considerate to creatures obsessed with throwing on oversized cozy sweaters like I do. I'm currently peeping on my window with this beautiful fog while listening to Pawnshop Blues by LDR of course, and sipping on tea. Somehow, I forget i'm somewhere else away from the comforts of my old self.

The weather, the carols played in the lobby,  the hotel tree lighting yesterday (this one over here participated as one of the hotel choir *ehem* ha ha! ) and the countdowns in TV shows make me tell myself: "It's Christmas." I have still yet to figure out tho, how to celebrate my favorite holiday without the people closest to my soul. Yes, including my cat.

Enjoy your weekend, dollface.

The Clearer View

The past few weeks was a massive whirring clouds of mental war. Living alone can both be a pro and con but i'd choose to go onto the positive boat, as I always do. Still, I crave for my old self, but I'm getting used to my life's latest blows. I know, 'neath all these, there's something real, not just some dream about my old self, but a dream of a woman with a clearer view.

Unhalloween Halloween

Whilst everyone were enjoying Halloween parties around the globe, I was here, in my room, contemplating on what I was supposed to dress for the season. Interesting, eh?--NOT.

Yes, I had work, and I still don't have that foreign ID to frolick wherever I want. But I'm learning to be happy here, darling. Now tell me more about your halloween ;)

Roses Are

Just got home from a morning for the books with Ji, lazy-lounging, talking and weird-dancing while enjoying sloppy fries and fastfood burgers we'd binge and smell everytime. Oh, we could do this everyday. "Yeah right, Riz, how many calories is that again?" said the fitness voice in my head. This, I'll surely miss. *sigh* At least for now, these tiny peachy things make it worthwhile, not to mention my cat's indulgence of kneading my stomach yet again.

I've been using this floral treasure for a while now, and realized I've never documented it. It screams versatility when I first saw this on my lola's box of goodies and been using it with almost everything since then.

Lola's 96th

Top - Thrifted || Aztec printed skirt - thrifted || Oxfords - Parisian || Mustard bag - Shop My Demeanor

Lunches and family get-togethers will always be one of my favorites.Sumptuous home cooked meals and merry conversations were exchanged for my Lola's 96th birthday. How cute she is when asked "How old are you" and she joyously (and quickly) responds: "86!"
